I know I only posted yesterday but I wanted to show this illustration before the next Illustration Friday topic was put online this week.
I’ve been wanting to take part in Illustration Friday for a long time but either the topic did not inspire me or I left it too late to post. So this time, when inspiration hit, I was determined to take part.
This piece of approx. 4 x 6 inch Khadi paper has been sitting with my WIPs for a long time because I think I was trying to do an abstract piece and then lost interest. When I came across it this week it seemed a perfect background to the idea I had for the current Illustration Friday topic: ‘Stay’
I’m not sure why the background works for me but I guess it has something to do with the nature of some relationships.
