One of the things that is making me smile right now is quite a simple thing. It’s just a tiny pot of flowers that my mum bought for me when she was last staying with us. Despite watering it regularly, it seems a little bit like it’s struggling to stay alive, but I smile when I see it because this little bunch are clearly fighters. I’ve had to remove several dead petals and leaves and sometimes I worry that it won’t make it, but it’s holding on and I admire that:
